August 31, at 7pm, John T. White Members and citizens are invited to a meeting to discuss a proposed Zone Change ( ZC-21-131) on a 5.2 acre property located at 8661-8689 John T. White Rd.
This property is located on the northeast corner of JTW and Randol Mill Rd.
The property being discussed is currently zoned E Neighborhood Commercial, and the developer who purchased it well aware of the current E zoning designation. Nevertheless, and with no communications with the JTWNA, he has filed to request a Zoning Change to R-2 Townhouse Cluster.
The JTWNA position is that this valuable, and perfectly placed commercial property is CORRECTLY ZONED as Neighborhood Commercial, and is in accordance with the Council Initiated Zoning Plan we worked with D-5 Councilwoman Gyna Bivens to create.
